Resin-bonded CBN grinding wheels are a type of abrasive tool used for grinding difficult-to-machine materials. They offer high efficiency, long life, high precision, and excellent surface finish. They are primarily used for face grinding, tool grinding, precision bearings, automotive parts, and machining various materials such as carbide, hardened steel, and ceramics. The resin bond imparts elasticity to the grinding wheel, making it less susceptible to workpiece burns and possessing excellent self-sharpening properties, making it an excellent choice for applications such as fine grinding and polishing.

Resin-bonded CBN grinding wheels offer exceptionally high surface finish quality. Thanks to their excellent self-sharpening properties and the inherent elasticity of the resin bond, they effectively absorb grinding vibrations, resulting in extremely low surface roughness (Ra),  preventing surface damage such as burns and micro-cracks on the workpiece, and ensuring perfect machining integrity.  Resin-bonded CBN grinding wheels also offer the advantages of low grinding forces and temperatures. Their sharp cutting characteristics reduce grinding resistance and energy consumption. Combined with coolant, they effectively control the temperature of the grinding zone, making them particularly suitable for machining heat-sensitive materials.
